One of the most common questions people ask their tattoo artists is \u201cdo tattoos hurt?\u201d The short and painful answer is \u2013 yes, they hurt, and sometimes by quite a lot!<\/p>\n

Although we can\u2019t give a subjective guestimate about how much pain is \u201ca lot,\u201d because everyone reacts to pain differently, we can list the most and least painful areas that hurt when getting a tattoo.<\/p>\n
